- Al Hubbard (baseball) (1860–1930), American Major League Baseball catcher and shortstop who played in two 1883 games for Philadelphia Athletics
- Al Hubbard (LSD pioneer) (1901–1982), American civil servant and inventor who became early proponent of psychedelic drug LSD; known as "Captain Al", he purportedly introduced scientists, politicians, intelligence officials, diplomats, and church figures to LSD
- Al Hubbard (comic book artist) (1915–1984), American illustrator who, along with Disney comics writer Dick Kinney, created Fethry Duck and Hard Haid Moe
